Ensemble "Chinary" is a proffesional troupe created by Assen Pavlov in 1993 ,formed by professional performers of Bulgarian folk dances, music and songs. Each member of the ensemble has an excellent professional training in music and choreography. The members of ensemble "Chinary" are talented and beautiful young exellent performers of traditional Bulgarian dances, songs and tunes. In 1998 the ensemble "Chinary" was registered with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria and has been recommended as an elite and representative professional ensemble.

In 2001 – 2002 - The ensemble had a great success in the world fest in Silver Dollar City -2001., which is the most prestigious and largest international folk Forum in the U.S.A. During its participation there ensemble received two calls in 2002 to participate in the Festival of Nations `2002, Dollywood, Tennessee, and Worldfest` 2002, New York.

In 2004 – 2005– Ensemble Chinary took part in two American – Bulgarian spectacles : ‘’World E – Motion ‘’ and ‘’Bulgaria se artistica ‘’

In 2008 Asen Pavlov was the producer, choreographer and director of the dance - music show "The Magic of the Dance"and music group "Bulgara". In the same year, "Chinary" received the award for his contribution to the festival "Pirin Folk" and the development of Bulgarian dance, and in 2009 received a gold medal from the FECC - Henk Ferdinant VAN DER KROON.

In 2009 – The ensemble received a gold medal from the FECC – HENK

In 2010 – The ensemble was awarded the golden book for contribution to Bulgarian culture.

In 2011, Asen Pavlov was awarded the Association of Bulgarian Dancers dance to a new chamber work "End Vardar". Ensemble "Chinar" is exceptional performer in the musical film "The Fourth Dimension", produced by Yanka Docheva and Dympeh Ltd. - London in 1998, directed by Stiliyan Ivanov.Theperformance of the ensemble in the film was a great success.It was recognized by connoisseurs of Bulgarian folk performing art. "Fourth Dimension" convincingly demonstrated high professional quality of the ensemble. Following the release of the film artists of Chinary are invited to participate in all the most prestigious folk programs on Television, Nova TV, FAN TV, Planeta, BNT - SAT, FOLKLORE TV and more. Chinary have had a lot of participation in many international forums in the U.S.A., Ukraine, Belgium, Netherlands, Greece, Russia, Turkey, France, South Korea and others. The ensemble had a great success in the world fest in Silver Dollar Ciry.We have successfully passed the participation of Chinar in Silver Dollar Cityest World-Fest `2001, which is the most prestigious and largest international folk Forum USA. During his participation there ensemble received two calls in 2002 to participate in the Festival of Nations `2002, Dollywood, Tennessee, and Worldfest` 2002, New York.
In 2011 was presented the show "dance magic" in Rome - Italy on "Days of Bulgarian Culture in Italy." The ensemble initiated the creation of the TV show "beat me" hosted by Asen Pavlov which was broadcast on Bulgarian National Television.
In 2012, the ensemble visited Berlin in connection with the "Green Week" which presented a traditional folklore program with artists from many countries.During the same year a new dance – music show ‘’The pictures of the Master’’ was created , presenting the works of Vladimir Dimitrov – The Master. His paintings come alive with the sounds and rhythms of the dancers of ensemble "Chinary" and ensemble "Pautalia." The show lasted 70 minutes and 32 dancerstook part in it. The Music for the show was created by Peter Milanov, Christina Beleva ,group "Bulgara" and Cyril Vladov.

In 2013, the performances "Revival stories" and "Balkan Tabor " were created choreographed and directed by Asen Pavlov. Most of the projects which were implemented were related to the anniversary "20 Years ENSEMBLE Chinary" . On November 26, in the crowded Hall 1 was presented megaspectacle " BOLYARS of the dance ."Atthe amazing concert were presented fragments of the latest projects of the ensemble - " World of Rhythms" choreographed by Anatoly KLOCHKOV and Peter Batoliyski , " The Legend of the mystical golden mask " choreographed and directed by Asen Pavlov The music in ‘’The legend of the mystical golden mask’’ was performed by the group of ‘’Bulgara’’

In 2014 The ensemble was awarded the "Golden Award" in the category "Tourism Ambassador" contest leader in the tourism magazine "Travel and Recreation" Nominated for 2013 STS / ICAR ® 2014 of the Union of Artists in Bulgaria.

The composition of "Chinary" includes only proven professional dance artists, musicians and singers, selected through competition. The repertoire of the ensemble includes dance and song traditions of all folklore regions of Bulgaria.The performances of Chinari are unique in terms of modern staging on production of traditional Bulgarian folklore, and in terms of incredibly successful combination of talent, beauty, youth and professionalism.
The artistic director and choreographer of the ensemble is Asen Pavlov, a graduate of the National School of Dance Art - Sofia, graduated choreographic direction at the Academy of Music and Dance - Plovdiv.
From 1992 to 1999 he wassolist-dancer of the National Folklore Ensemble "Philip Koutev." Since 1995 he has been a professor at the NSDA - Sofia. In 1999-2000 A. Pavlov starred in the title role of US-Bulgarian production - "Hamlet Adventure" directedby Greg Roach.

In 2014 The ensemble was awarded the "Golden Award" in the category "Tourism Ambassador" contest leader in the tourism magazine "Travel and Recreation" Nominated for 2013 STS / ICAR ® 2014 of the Union of Artists in Bulgaria.

The Same year on 27.11.2014 in Hall 1 of National Culture Centre, the new dance - music show '' The tracians '' was presented by '' Chinary'' , group ETNOTIX , ''Chinary drums'' and group ''Bulgara''

The show was choreographed , produced and directed by Asen Pavlov

In 2015 the ensemble was awarded by the union artists of Bulgaria with golden icar.

On 24.11.2015 the ensemble presented the biggest show called '''We , the Bulgarians ''

Over 60 participations took part in that show. The music was played live by the Orchestra for Folk Music of the Bulgarian National Radio , group ''ETNOTIX'' , trio ''Bulgarina'' and quartet ''Svetoglas''

In 2016 ''Chinary'' and Asen Pavlov were awarded by the union artists of Bulgaria with crystal lire for the show '' We , The Bulgarians ''

In the same year the ensemble presented a new dance - music show '' Revival stores'' based on poems of Hristo Botev. The music of the show was played live by Sofia Brass Orchestra , Trio ''Bulgarina'' , group ''ETNOTIX'' , Kostadin Genchev , Petyo Krustev , Petur Milanov and quartet ''Bulgarians''

In 2017 Asen Pavlov was given ''Golden Century - sign of king Simeon the great '' He was rewarded for development ot the Bulgarian culture on 24 may ( The day of Bulgarian culture and slavianian writing )

On 28 november 2017 in Hall 1 of NPOC , Ensemble Chinary presented ''Mystic Drum''. In that show ensemble Chinary's dancers , group ETNOTIX , trio Bulgarina and quartet Bulgari took a part Choreographers and directors of ''Mystic Drum'' are Asen Pavlov and Kaloian Pavlov. The music was written by Kostadin Genchev. Many heroes of Bulgarian stories were included in that show. Showing the mystic rythm , it took the audience from the antiquity to nowadays.
